Craniofacial Mouse Developmental Ontology (CMDO)

Mouse developmental anatomy

The CHDO models development of the mouse head, from the zygote through the fetus.

Purpose

The CMDO is a subset of CMO that deals with mouse craniofacial development. It shares the same class structure and content scope as the CHDO. Where appropriate, CMDO classes are mapped to EMAP terms (1).

Status

Current work is focused on the developmental properties of anatomical entities related to the lips and the palate.
